What is Mystery Dungeon?
PMD BRT Walkthrough - Basic rules when you proceed in Mystery Dungeons.
What is Mystery Dungeon?
- In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team, you must explore Mystery Dungeons. They are dungeons that change every time you enter them. Even if you enter the same dungeon again, almost everything, such as the structure and where stairs and items are located, are completely different. You can enjoy exploring a dungeon however many times, since everytime you enter a dungeon, you feel like exploring a brand new dungeon.
- At first it might take time for you to beat a dungeon. But as you get used to it, you'll be able to clear dungeons quickly. Mystery Dungeons are designed to engage players to play in them over and over again. Have fun in ever-changing circumstance!
Rules in Mystery Dungeon
- Each Mystery dungeon has a certain number of floors. You take stairs to go to the next floor. When you take stairs or defeat a Boss on the last floor, you beat a dungeon.
- A floor consists of rooms and corridors. Rooms are connected by corridors. Items, tiles and stairs only appear in rooms. However, enemy Pokemon will appear both in rooms and corridors.
- All movements and battles go turn-based in a Mystery Dungeon. Certain moves such as proceeding by one step or using a Pokemon's move consume a turn. You move first, then do your party members and enemy Pokemon the next. You don't have to hurry to move when your mind is not set, because enemy Pokemon never do anything until you make a move first in a turn.
- While you explore a Mystery Dungeon, your belly goes down. You can see how much of your belly is left on menu. When your belly goes down to 0, you get famished and the adventure fails, just like when your HP hits 0.
